Dr. Nguyen was born and raised in Vietnam where she lived for 16 years until she moved to the United States to study abroad on a scholarship.
She attended Sweetgrass County High School in Montana and completed her undergraduate studies at CSU East Bay, where she majored in biological science and graduated with summa cum laude. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Western University College of Health Sciences - College of Optometry in Pomona. Dr. Nguyen’s training experiences are highlighted by her internships at the Villages VA Hospital in Florida, Castle Community Hospital in Atwater, CA, Family Eye Care Optometry in Phelan, CA, and Eye Studio Optometry in San Diego, CA.
